A Little More…

If the warmth of the heart is not

Enough to arouse frozen feelings,

Let’s burn the Sun a little more!

If there are not enough flowers;

And instead, a realm of thorns in the garden,

Let’s plant the roses a little more!

If time and desires are in an undying battle;

Caused due to a demurring mind,

Let’s filter our desires a little more!

If the intensity of love's thirst

Cannot be quenched with a mere mirage,

Let’s drown in love a little more!

Let us free the pheasants of

Our minds in the farm of love,

Let’s feed our emotions a little more!

 હજુ થોડું વધુ...

થીજી ગયેલી લાગણીને જગાવવા-

ઓછી પડે જો હૃદયની ઉષ્મા,

ચાલ, સૂર્યને હજુ થોડો વધુ  ઢંઢોળીયે ...

શૂળોનું સામ્રાજ્ય છવાયું ઉપવને,

ફૂલોની ઘટી જો તાદાત એમાં,

ચાલ, ગુલાબને હજુ થોડા વધુ રોપીયે....

સમય અને ઇચ્છાઓનું દ્વંદ-યુધ્ધ,

ચંચળ મનનો છે વાંક એમાં,

ચાલ, ઈચ્છાઓને હજુ થોડી વધુ ચાળવીયે

 પ્યાસ યુગોની કોરા મનની ભીતર,

કેમ બુઝાય આટલા મૃગજળથી?

ચાલ, મૃગલાને હજુ થોડું વધુ દોડાવીયે..

તારા અને મારા મનના તેતરને,

છુટ્ટા મૂકી દઈયે આજે બન્નેને ખેતરમાં,

ચાલ, મનગમતું ચણ આજે વધુ ચણી લઈયે...
